Hand-in-Hand Project to Support Community Leaders

Within the framework of the partnership between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of the German government, and with joint financial support from the European Union through the Equal Opportunities and Social Development Project, Save the Children International launches the ‘Hand in Hand Project’.

The project aims to provide a training program for youth, specifically designed to equip participants with necessary life skills, increase their community participation, and empower them to become leaders in promoting gender equality and the inclusion of people with disabilities.

The program targets young men and women between the ages of 16 and 25, who are studying at public universities in Cairo, Alexandria, and Assiut governorates who are passionate about making positive changes in their communities.

This program gives participants the opportunity to develop their ideas into effective initiatives that address pressing societal issues. After completing the training, 300 creative participants will be selected to join one of the project’s three specialized tracks: Arts for Development, Advocacy and Campaigns, or Digital Solutions which includes support to implement the project.

Registration Deadline is September 19th, 2024.
